About me
JEN CAFFREY graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2009. After graduation, she clerked for a succession of brilliant Circuit Court Judges in Baltimore City until - in early 2011 - she was hired as an Assistant Public Defender in the post- conviction unit. She litigated claims of ineffective assistance of counsel in every Circuit Court in Maryland, and was eventually promoted to supervising attorney. She was also selected to be a faculty member for the New Attorney Training program for the Office of the Public Defender. In 2018, she accepted a position as a special agent with the Baltimore City Office of the Inspector General, where she investigated allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse in City government, and was eventually promoted to Special Agent in Charge. In 2020 she joined the Office of the Attorney General as the Chief Supervising Attorney for the Child Support Administration.
