BRITTANY FAVAZZA serves as an Assistant Attorney General in the Maryland Attorney's Office. She graduated, with honors, from the University of Baltimore School of Law, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science from Lock Haven University. She began her career at a small law firm representing clients in family law matters. In 2019, she felt the call to public service and joined the Attorney’s General’s Office as Special Counsel for the Baltimore City Office of Special Counsel. In this role, Ms. Favazza represented the Baltimore City Office of Child Support Services in all types of child support matters, but as a member of the contempt unit, she specialized in child support contempt cases. She also dedicated time to the contempt workgroup to ensure equity in the child support contempt process. She was nominated by her colleagues and received an award for her dedication to service. Ms. Favazza recently transferred to Harford County and now represents the Harford County Child Support Administration in paternity and support actions.
