About me
Adina Tanasescu has over 26 years of child support experience. Currently serving as the Director for the Anne Arundel County Child Support Administration. Prior to this, Adina has served as the Deputy Director for the Baltimore County Child Support Administration.
During her many years of service, Adina has positively impacted the lives of thousands in the Baltimore County region and now in Anne Arundel County. Recognized as a tough leader, she has actively engaged with government agencies, educational institutions, and corporate entities to find evidence-based solutions to improve the child support program. A graduate of the Leadership Development Initiative (LDI), Adina has also served on the board of Maryland Joint Child Support Council (MJCSC) for more than 15 years as the treasurer and in different other positions. Her desire to help people in need is very apparent as she continues to dedicate herself to the human services field. Adina was instrumental in developing partnerships with different agencies with the Baltimore County Circuit Court which includes the mediation program, clerk’s office, and sheriff’s office. Adina has expanded the Family Employment and Support Program (FESP) which has received national recognition and national awards for assisting non-custodial parents in obtaining employment, and dismantling barriers they may experience in obtaining a job. Through her work, she prides herself on connecting members of the community with beneficial resources.
