Breakout Session: B. Best Practices in Establishment

This workshop will discuss statewide best practices in establishing child support. Resources available to the Child Support Administration for locating noncustodial parents will be explored along with a discussion about current challenges with service of process. The workshop will explore unique establishment issues such as posthumous paternity establishment, how to verify social security benefits and provide practice hints on drafting child support orders.
